Nutella Almond Butter Oaty Bar

Oaty bars are great for breakfast on the run, lunchboxes or just with a cup of tea. These bars are healthy and so much better than those branded ones.



Ingredients Yields - 15 Mini Bars

  • Oats flour - 1 cup
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Almond butter - 1/4 cup
  • Nutella - 1/4 cup
  • Coarsely chopped peanuts - 2 tbsp
  • Honey / brown sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon powder / cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Flax powder - 1 tbsp (mixed in 2 tbsp of water)
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp

Method
  • Mix oats flour,  oats, cinnamon powder, peanuts and baking powder in a big bowl
  • Beat almond butter, honey and powdered flax mixed in water + 1/4 cup water
  • Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix well
  • Grease the pan and spread the mixture
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until a tooth pick inserted in the centre comes out clean
  • Cool it before cutting into squares and spread nutella on top 
  • store it in a air tight container

    • Each mini bars = 160 calories approximately
